UNDULATION FASTEST IN TOWCESTER TRIAL SESSION

Brendan Matthews and Liam Dowling both trialled at Towcester for the first time this year on Saturday afternoon and, on a track that was running slower than in recent weeks, Undulation set the standard for Matthews.

On the same day that her sister Undisputed set the standard in the opening round of the Irish Oaks, Undulation posted 29.32 (4.20) to go fastest of the 60 plus greyhounds to trial.

Brendan Matthews also trialled As I Say (29.53 off 4.13), Burj Khalifa (29.67 off 4.20), Wide Open (29.94 off 4.22) and Mr Incredible (29.84 off 4.26).

Liam Dowling had a few big name trialists. Hi Derby runner-up Ballymac Finn posted 29.56 from a 4.14 sectional, while Ballymac Johnjo was his fastest as he recorded 29.34 of a 4.30 sectional. He also trialled his Juvenile Classic winner Ballymac Marino who stopped the clock in 29.65 after a 4.23 split. Others to trial for Dowling include Ballymac Joey (29.49), Ballymac Seanie (29.69), Ballymac Walt (29.38/ 4.11) and Ballymac Bronze (29.38/ 4.20).
